ChargingHome---Navinfo levers the pivot of the new energy automobile market.

 August 14, 2017, on the Projen Sci-Tech "Enjoy+" Commercial Telematics Product Conference, Navinfo officially launched an intelligent travel solution of electric automobiles--ChargingHome. "ChargingHome is an integral solution which combines the charging function and map together, specifically, it can not only provide users with traditional data map products, but also provide new energy travel methods with charging map service products", a responsible person delivered a clear definition to ChargingHome.

In recent years, with rapid development of the new energy automobile industry, charging infrastructure construction in China gets improved increasingly, which dramatically relieves lack of charging infrastructure. However, how to find a charging service station rapidly and accurately and complete the charging of an automobile successfully, is a new problem which is encountered by new energy automobile owners right now. In the period of "the 13th Five Year Plan", the market scale of the new energy automobile charging piles (stations) will rise to a total value of nearly RMB 130 billion.

It obviously shows that there will be a huge development space in the new energy automobile industry of China, in particular to the charging infrastructure construction. In the view of Navinfo, the construction of charging & map integration solution is not simply accomplished overnight, but has a higher criteria and stricter requirement. In the condition that charging infrastructure construction in China gets rapid development, it will certainly require the map of charging piles to cover a much larger range of data, and the update speed of the map need to match up with the construction speed. Whereas, there are various brands of new energy automobiles in China, along with diverse charging pile operators most of whom are still in a standard improving phase, and how to help car owners find charging piles or stations matching up with their automobiles to shorten the queue waiting time is also a rigid demand. In addition, site selection of public charging stations is very important in order to improve the utilization factor of charging facilities. Advices on site selection of construction based on traffic big data analysis, is also an item of social responsibilities the map service shall bear.

It is predicted that till the end of 2017, the number of partners can be enlarged to nearly 10, and at the same time, services like cloud map service, charging control service, and cross-platform seamless service among vehicle-mounted phones, mobile phones, and PCs can be achieved.
